He is interested in finding new ways of history writing either by applying new methodologies (like in his material culture work) or by making new connections (like in his work on Dutch rural transformations).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He is now writing a book, in Dutch, on the construction of agriculture as an economic sector in the Netherlands in the nineteenth century.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2024 he is also active as &#8220;editor&#8221; of the<a href=\"https:\/\/landbouwgeschiedenis.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> website<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/landbouwgeschiedenis.nl\/archief-nieuwsbrieven\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">newsletter<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/landbouwgeschiedenis.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">of the Dutch Rural History Society<\/a>. It is in Dutch only (but can of course easily been translated in English by AI).
